Title: Assistant Tour Manager
As the assistant tour manager, I'm responsible for facilitating each event of the tour on-site. Transporting the Commissioner's Trophy (which goes to the team that wins the World Series each year) and other assets for each event, including the 2021 Ford Bronco with the World Champions Trophy Tour wrap on it for marketing and activation visual and awareness. In my role, I am traveling 100% and working off days on planning for the upcoming events/stops remotely.
I execute on-site experimental marketing and building of the activation at every tour stop for fans all experience throughout Braves Country. The purpose of doing so is to promote and share the Atlanta Braves World Series Championship (first one in 26 years) with Braves fans near and far, providing them with an unparalleled experience and moment to capture and remember forever. I want to make each Braves fan feel a part of the Atlanta Braves in winning this World Series and be able to experience and further celebrate it with this unique opportunity.
Outside of each event, I'm coordinating logistical and operational planning and needs with both the 160over90 and Braves trophy tour account teams. ESPN COLLEGE GAMEDAY
Production Assistant: Runner (SEC Championship)
In my role, I contributed to the facilitation and setup/breakdown of the production room for ESPN's College GameDay show for the SEC Championship featuring #3 Alabama and #1 Georgia. I assisted production coordinators with operational tasks efficiently and effectively both on-site and off-site. I was part of a small team that handled escorting & chauffeuring on-air talent and producers to sets, stadiums, and hotels in a timely manner.
This opportunity was an unrivaled experience in that it gave me the chance to truly see, understand, and appreciate how much and every single thing that goes into the preparation and execution behind the scenes to produce a nationally recognized show by such a brand as ESPN. The communication and coordination it takes to successfully execute this are astronomical and I was able to rely on my communication and coordination skills to accomplish and provide the standard and prestige that ESPN is known for.

EVENT OPERATIONS & LOGISTICS
Atlanta Braves Baseball Club
As a member of the Event Operations & Logistics department, we support all organizational events with operational & logistical needs as the center of a spider web network. We also support all operational aspects of all external client, corporate, contractual, internal, gameday, and non-gameday events. We work as a component of the guest operations and strategy department, along with ballpark tours, meetings and events, and guest services.
Having the opportunity to work for a professional sports organization has created a first-hand eye-opening experience for me. Getting to see and be a part of what all it takes to make the gameday (and non-gameday) experience what it is has been truly humbling. The number of people, work, communication, and logistics that it takes to be able to make the experience what the fans, players, and world know it to be is truly incredible. Being able to adapt on the fly, critically think, and creatively solve problems as they happen is crucial in executing everything that we are involved in.
By having a basis of theoretical knowledge about the components of the sports industry, I was able to quickly grasp and understand the concepts used day-to-day. Some of these were structure, operations, communication, logistics (preparation, set up, breakdown, etc.), time management, and more. These classes consisted of:
Sports Management - Live Entertainment Management - Event & Venue Management - Principles of Marketing & Management - Resort & Club Management - Sport & Entertainment Event Management - Sports Business & Finance - Sport & Entertainment Marketing - Sport & Entertainment in American Life

CLUB OPERATIONS
Augusta National Golf Club - The Masters
In the fall of 2019, I was hand-selected out of +1,500 students and +300 interviews from U.S.C. to work the 2020 (Postponed to 2021) Masters Tournament. I took 2 semester-long golf tourism classes to prepare for and learn the ins & outs of the tournament as well as Augusta National. (And 2nd, adjusted with changes for COVID-19)
In my role within Club Operations, I supported in various hospitality roles at the brand new and green jacket member-only restaurant in Augusta National, The Spring, but primarily worked as a runner and set up for Augusta National member dinner services. I also assisted managers in other daily needs including managing to display the various television coverages throughout the restaurant for the green jacket members.
I was further fortunate enough to be selected to set up & work the special closing Augusta National Green Jacket members dinner & champion recognition ceremony Sunday night on Magnolia Lane and Founders Circle (first time ever in this location).
My two Golf Tourism classes that I took to prepare for each Masters tournament were chock-full of knowledge and insight that fully prepared me to deliver and provide the highest level of professionalism and hospitality that The Masters tournament is so well-known for. Furthermore, in these classes, I learned about all the history of Augusta and The Masters Tournament, and how to provide and uphold the hospitality standard.
It was truly an honor to work for Augusta National and The Masters Tournament. My time and experience is something that I will cherish forever as well as the preparation and knowledge being something that I will use going forward in my career.
