Feasibility Study
Below is a feasibility study that I built from scratch for a sports business finance course project at the University of South Carolina.

SPORTS BUSINESS FINANCE
FEASIBILITY STUDY
University of South Carolina: SPTE 440
For our class feasibility study project, our group decided to see if it was feasible to add a retractable roof to Williams-Brice Stadium, home of the South Carolina Gamecocks. The reason for doing so was to determine the financial responsibilities that would come in adding a retractable roof and further enhance the gameday and event experience for both the users and consumers of the facility.

Overall, this study will provide an in-depth look and breakdown of all the costs that will have to be accounted for in the addition of this retractable roof, as well as highlight the benefits involved in it. Our feasibility includes an executive summary, market analysis, key project assumptions, economic & fiscal impact, income statement, balance sheet, t-accounts, and statement of cash flows.
In completing this project and my first ever feasibility study, I became vastly immersed and aware of everything involved and what it takes to attempt and fulfill a project like this, and the initial and long-lasting impacts it has in the area. This opportunity and class challenged me and provided me with the ability to saturate myself in the operational and logistical economics of the sports industry. Furthermore, the chance to submerge my connection with my professor who has completed numerous large-scale economic impact studies for a living has been a blessing. Through this professor, class, project, and group members, I have enhanced my knowledge and understanding of the operational and logistical economic aspects of the sports industry.
